British number one Emma Raducanu made a strong start to her grass-court season by beating Russia’s Anna Blinkova 6-0 6-3 in her opening match at Queen’s.

The victory sent Raducanu into the second round and underlined a confident return to grass after a successful opening performance. She controlled the match from the outset, taking the first set without dropping a game before closing out the contest in straight sets.

Raducanu makes fast start on grass
